Total Eclipse of the Heart!

Total Eclipse of the Heart!

I was eager to do another animation, but I couldn't think of anything. Then I realized the eclipse would be fun. Where I live, we only got a partial, and I still had to contend with the fact that I can't really draw, so multiple successive frames of the entire character would have been too much. So I thought about what would actually move: the sun/moon combo, and the light, as well as the facial expressions. So again I drew the static character, and its cardboard eclipse viewing mechanism in Sketch, then used PicsArt Animator to move the moon over the sun, and create a beam of light through the pinhole. I also did this on an airplane with a very angry and entitled man sitting next to me pushing his gross hairy arm over the armrest and into my seat then complaining to me that I was touching him.
